Canadian Author Series- Tanis Rideout (Thursday, September 25 at 7pm)
Brampton Library is pleased to be hosting an evening with Canadian novelist, Tanis Rideout. Her novel, Above All Things is a captivating blend of historical fact and imaginative fiction, that moves seamlessly back and forth between the epic story of George Mallory's legendary final expedition and a heartbreaking account of a day in the life of Ruth Mallory. Drawing on years of research, this powerful and beautifully written novel is a timeless story of desire, redemption, and the lengths we are willing to go for honour, glory, and love. Join us for a talk, reading, and signing at the Cyril Clark Branch at 7:00 pm in the Lecture Hall.
