Description: Thrift store for the Downtown Emergency Service Center.

Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the most disabled and vulnerable homeless men and women survive and achieve their highest possible level of self-sufficiency. DESC serves over 6,500 people annually, and provides emergency shelter and survival services, clinical programs and supportive housing. We have been recognized by HUD and others not just for quality, but for effective integration across programs that constitutes a "continuum of care" within the agency.

High turnover of gorgeous books in the window, many of the book donations apparently coming from the numerous architecture firms and art galleries in the area. Open late during the "First Thursday" art walks.
