Description: Welcome to Borders in Downtown Ann Arbor, located right next to the campus of the University of Michigan! We are Borders Store #1, just around the corner from where Tom and Louis Borders founded the company in 1971.

Check out our wall of Staff Selections, where we recommend books, music and movies that we are passionate about! When you are in our store, please look for Ben Barkin-Wilkins. Ben is a veteran bookseller who has worked in our store for over 6 months. Ben is usually reading 2-3 (at least!) History or Politics books at a time, so he's always good for a recommendation!

We are a store that is fortunate to host many, many authors and artists for book and cd signings. On any given day there is something exciting going on in our store, so please check the site often for upcoming events.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
