Description: One of the very best bookshops in the country without a shadow of doubt. It has a wonderful crime section in particular. Also strong on the classics, fantasy and of course academic books. Catalogues are issued and many book-signings and other events take place throughout the year. There are also lots of signed books in store which are readily available.
The shop also holds regular meetings of its 3 Reading Groups - Crimecrackers,Heffers Reading Group and Heffers Fiction Reading Group. (See Website for Details.)
It also holds an annual Bodies in the Bookshop event, which brings together 50+ crime writers and their readers.
