Architecturally very cool in the steampunk sort of way that Baltimore does so well - built into the old power plant, and you actually walk *through* the huge old ironclad brick smokestacks, to the escalators with visible machinery.

And it's right in the middle of the tourist district of the Inner Harbor, literally a few meters from the water and a very short walk from several of the attractions.

Beyond the interesting building and layout, it's a pretty standard Barnes & Noble. However, stands out for having an excellent local interest section, including quite a few Maryland history books that I've never seen before except in specialty libraries. Finally managed to spend the B&N gift card I've been carrying around on a book of essays about the early colonization of Maryland!
