Sonya Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History LibraryWeb site: http://www.lib.unc.edu/stone/ Amenities: wifi Description: (from www.lib.unc.edu/stone/services.html) The Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History Library is an interdisciplinary collection focusing on the African American experience, Africa, and the African Diaspora. As well as its book collection, the library has a small collection of print periodicals, and provides access to a wide array of electronic journals and databases.
FACILITIES: --reading and browsing areas, --two group study rooms, --ten study carrels. (All are equipped with Internet connections).
COMPUTING: The library has wireless capabilities. A printer is available for use with a UNC One Card. At this time there is no photocopier available for student use.
POLICIES: Materials may be checked out of the Stone Center Library with a UNC One Card or Library Borrower's Card. Interlibrary loan is available through Davis Library. Books and materials checked out of the Stone Center Library may be returned to Davis Library as well.
