Young children and their families are cordially invited to share stories on Saturday mornings at Congregation Beth Israel.

Sukkot stories with acclaimed storyteller Cindy Rivka Marshall. She will tell Jewish folktales and legends that speak to the themes of sacred space, hosptiality and Sukkot. Listeners are invited to participate with gestures and refrains, with stories that can be enjoyed by all ages. Cost is $5.

Author Jane Bernstein, Professor of English and Creative Writing at Carnegie Mellon University, will be the Scholar-in-Residence at Congregation Beth Israel, 701 Farmington Ave., West Hartford during the weekend of November 14-16, 2008.
