Description: The College of Education Media Center supports the College of Education and the Department of Psychology with educational materials including books, journals, textbooks, reserves, technology, kits, and audiovisual resources. The media center maintains a K-12 collection of literature as well as state adopted textbooks and professional materials for both student and practicing teachers. Additionally, it provides equipment for checkout to education and psychology faculty and students. Instructors from other departments who have classes in Poe may check out equipment on an hourly basis for use within the building.

Affiliated with the NCSU Libraries, the College of Education media center materials can be accessed through the D.H. Hill online catalog. The media center serves as a tripsaver location as well.

Staff is available to provide in-class or on-site orientations, training, and instruction sessions. Workshops in the use of equipment or software instruction for groups or individuals may be pre-arranged.

The media center is an open PC and Mac Unity lab with access to print quota printers that include a b&w, a color, and a plotter printer, and three Wolf copycard copy machines. There are flatbed and sheet-fed scanners, an Ellison die cutter, a laminator, and a binder available for student use. -- from website.
