Description: The Book Shop, which has served Hayward and the surrounding area since 1989, is the town's only locally-owned, independent bookstore. They have a truly vast collection of both new and used books from all publishers, genres, and time periods, along with an incredibly knowledgeable staff that is always more than happy to take the time to help you find just the right text. There's no better way to spend a nice afternoon than digging through the shelves that run all throughout the store. Do it soon!
