And when the Industrial Extension Service knocks on the door of a business, they are warmly greeted. Over the past five years, the group has returned nearly $540 million in direct annual gain to the state by helping businesses increase efficiency, productivity and quality through the use of the latest technologies and best practices in engineering and business management.
