Description: Takoma Park Neighborhood Library is a full-service public library serving the the Takoma area in NW Washington, DC. The branch is open 7 days a week and has a collection serving adults and children. There are 6 public computers for children, 8 public computers for adults, as well as an extensive print and media collection available for check-out. Built in 1911, it is the oldest public neighborhood libary in DC. It recently underwent a renovation to restore the historic beauty of the building while at the same time, offering the modern conveniences that library users expect.
