Description: The Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza is a locally owned, independent bookstore that has been around since 1976. If you can't find what you're looking for on our shelves, please ask and we will do our best to find you a copy! Our book-crazy staff reads constantly and loves to talk about books, so feel free to pick our brains as well.

We also carry USGS maps, stock many local titles (both about the area and by local authors), and have a gigantic ever changing bargain book section. We are currently undergoing extensive renovations but remain open and happy to be of assistance.

Make sure you ask for a free Bookaholics Bonus Card when you stop in! You have over a year to fill the card's $150, at which point you receive a $15 credit to spend in the store on almost anything. The card is also good at The Little Book House (located right next to The Book House, same phone number) as well as at our sister store on River St. in Troy, Market Block Books (518-328-0045).

Please check our website for upcoming events and other information about the store, or stop in and say hello! We have also recently launched a store blog, which you can find at http://bookhouseofstuyvesantplaza.blo....
