The Great War Theme Read

In 2014 we will commemorate the WWI centenary via a theme read. Every two months will feature a main selection with book discussion. Alternative titles have also been nominated for those who have read the main selection or prefer another title. All of those books are written by authors who have been published by Virago, Persephone, or a small press with a similar ethos. Reader recommendations take in any other books of interest to lovers of Virago Modern Classics.
