Set in the near future, this novel is about an American President, Shelby Robertson, and most of his appointed cabinet members who are Christian fundamentalists and members of a real organization called the Pentagon's Christian Embassy which was actually exposed a few years ago.

In the story the President believes he receives his instructions directly from Jesus and his warning proclaims 'the end of times'. ( )
