Not a bad first graphic novel for Brendan Leach. It's the story of three brothers in an early 1900s New York City that is infested with pterodactyls. All three are members of an "army" that fights these beasts, but the older two have the more prestigious positions of actually attacking the dinosaurs while the third is merely a watchman. The story itself is strong, although the ending isn't as wrapped up as I'd like it to be. The art might be called "scribbling realism" -- you can tell what most objects in a panel are, but if you need to distinguish detail (like telling the three brothers apart) it's a bit more challenging.
