This book is about a young boy in search of a father. He roams the streets looking for a father. In the end me find a man who falls in love and marries his mother.

Louie goes out in search of a father, but finds a music box that fell off the truck. The owner of the music box comes to louies house and ends up falling for his mother.

Young Louie is searching his neighborhood for someone who could be a father. On his search a music box falls off a truck and the driver claims he stole it. He confronts his mother and realizes the music box never sounded so nice. He gives it to Louie and apologizes. The driver befriends his mother and him and soon they are married and Louie has a father.
