I thought this story just was okay. The big message was explaining that children are a large responsibility and all women should wait until they are grown and mature to have their own. I believe this story would not make sense to a young child that was reading. Also, it may be inappropriate for a child to read being they do not think about having children when they are so young. As a reader, I believe the child would not understand the plot nor the big message. The plot was very descriptive explaining with dialogue and each character which helps the reader flow through the story. The illustrations were very catchy to look at being they described the story perfectly. ( )
