I think this was a perfect book for girls who are into books about drama
it's mainly based on a african american girl who is struggling to be popular but in the end things don't go the way she wanted them to go (

While this book had a slow start, it was easy-to-read and pretty true to life. I enjoyed the characters, but this was not my type of YA book. However, it would be excellent for a middle or high school girl to read. (
