( ) Everybody makes mistakes-and my first one was named Connor, a heart- stealing Scottish hottie. I thought our night together was the beautiful beginning to a love story, which turned out to be my second mistake. I, Phoebe Allen, lifelong Broken Heart resident and vampire, am now mated to a half-demon. The plot was fairly straight forward and I knew pretty much how it was going to end part way through the book. And none of the characters are that well developed. If you prefer the more complex, grittier plots of urban fantasy you probably won't enjoy this. However I found that it was the perfect book for a snowy day - a quick light read. no reviews | add a review
