Time fillers that you can put down and pick back up without having to remember a convoluted plot or time warps of character studies. But on the other hand they aren't memorable and I haven't bonded with Kinsey as a character, and this is the eighth book in the series I have read. I've got two more books in the series on my tbr pile so I will read those (every book that comes into the house has to be read) but, unless something amazing happens in these books, won't be rushing to read the remainder of the series.
