A picture book that explores the perception that as things move away from us they seem to get smaller. The poor animals -- owl, fox, rabbit, squirrel, and mouse -- seem to shrink as they move away and get bigger as they get closer. Finally owl figures out that when people come back they will be "the right size".

Coupled this book with Steve Jenkins's "Actual Size". Could also use it with "Kitten's First Full Moon" -- re perception of objects -- and "Zoom" / "Re-Zoom". ( )
