This is the most helpful writing on childbirth that I have ever read. There is detailed information about various positions for laboring and what their advantages are. ( )

This book is a great reference for people planning a natural birth. It very much has a natural birth - no drugs - midwife care agenda, but this doesn't stop the information on the birthing process from being straightforward, calming, empowering and easy to read.

It was one of the more balanced natural birthing books I looked at. ( )
