A collection of stories from the various "Batman" comics, telling a single storyline about a deadly and incurable virus that has been launched against Gotham City. For a story by comittee, this is a very well-done book, consistent in art and plot, compelling in concept and execution. Of particular poignancy is the sequence of events and reactions by Batman and Alfred when Tim Drake becomes ill with the virus. ( )
