Fun tricks but for most people this won’t work... We still do not understand diet. ( )

The sections on body transformation and sleep were really good. The section on sex? Uh... fast forward. Not because I'm not a fan of sex, but as a Christian, I'm not going to be looking to the porn industry as "experts". That's just stupid. ( )

Interesting in an over-the-top, quack sort of way. ( )

This is a true monster of a book, in several ways. The amount of information and research contained in this book is mind blowing. The amount of topics covered is almost crazy to try to fit into one book. I think there is a lot of great and useful information that can be used to change lives for the better. I think it is organized in a way that makes it easy to focus only on the areas you want to improve, such as strength, weight loss or sex, rather than reading straight through. There are so many additional resources and bonuses that someone could spend months thoroughly exploring just a few chapters. The only thing I wish it did have was a better summary. With this amount of overwhelming information, a quick reference guide or table for things such as the slow carb diet or specific workouts would be helpful when trying to implement the changes. If didn't take notes while reading, that is a lot of book to go back through to find the plans for whatever workout or diet you may be interested in implementing. ( )

Great tips. A compendium of self experimentation.

It’s among the craziest, most breathless things I’ve ever read, and I’ve read Klaus Kinski, Dan Brown and Snooki... “The 4-Hour Body” reads as if The New England Journal of Medicine had been hijacked by the editors of the SkyMall catalog. Some of this junk might actually work, but you’re going to be embarrassed doing it or admitting to your friends that you’re trying it. This is a man who, after all, weighs his own feces, likes bloodletting as a life-extension strategy and aims a Philips goLite at his body in place of ingesting caffeine.

For my parents, who taught a little troublemaker that marching to a different drummer was a good thing. I love you both and owe you everything. Mum, sorry about all the crazy experiments.
