This is a good example of a informational book because it is about what zoo animals eat. It has simple text pictures of animals and children and facts on each and every page to help give children the information needed in knowing the zoo animals diet. The illustrations are photos which give realistic visuals for the children to see and recognize when reading the information on each page.

Great photos and a very simple text about animals at the zoo, this step into reading will have natural appeal for the younger set. ( )
