I completely dig Better Homes and Gardens Old fashioned cookbooks. To me they had some of the best recipes. My mother always makes the same types of candies and cookies and treats for Christmas each year, and many of her recipes came from B&H. My sweet fiance got this book from a charity table for me as a gift and I'm delighted - many pictures, fun cookies and displays for children's teas and parties, a wide variety of cookies, bars, brownies, fudges, and much more with unusual styles and a large variety of offerings.
