FBI agents Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock are on the hunt for a horrific serial killer. This killer has blood ties to a long dead monster. They bring in fellow agents Lucy Carlyle and Cooper McKnight to help bring this killer to justice.

Lucy's beloved father is dying and on his death bed he reveals a terrible family secret. Lucy is determined to get to the bottom of this mystery and moves into her late grandmother's house. What she finds in the attic sends her reeling. She soon realizes that its more then just a murder that involves her family.

There's no other way to say it: "Split Second" is a winner that reminds us how the life we know can change in an instant. I have loved this series from the beginning and each book just adds to the enjoyment. ( )

This had several stories going on. The main one was a murderous rampage by the daughter of Ted Bundy. There are also secondary stories involving a shop keeper whose life has been put in danger and a mystery about one of the team and her missing grandfather. There was also a romance between two of the team and it worked well.

This is like Criminal minds lite. Nothing wrong with it but feels a bit formulaic, not in a bad way but I like how the characters interact. The romance felt fairly real, but at the same time there should have been a little more introspection about work relationships, I'm sure there are regulations.

Overall, not a bad read. ( )

Dillon Savich again tries to protect his wife and the mother of his child, agent Lacey Sherlock from harm. And again her reaction is petulant and childish. agents Lucy Carlyle and Cooper McKnight provide the romance.
Agent Carayle learns of a little white? magic that is passed through her family from mother to daughter, but dose not share this with anyone.
A most unsatisfactory novel on any level. ( )

A good suspense story with some romance in the background. Exciting fast paced action including Savich and Sherlock with multiple crimes to solve. Lucy and Coop are leads on the FBI team to catch a serial killer when Lucy's father has a heart attack.

A typical 'shoot-em-up-at-the-end book; also a bit too complicated. Mixing up Ted Bundy's daughter and a magic ring! it was a bit too much! ( )
