Dame meines He ... ... Plaidy. I tried to read The Loves of Charles II and couldn't get past book 1... it was horrible. However I later read Victoria Victorious and quite enjoyed it. I think her style is a bit wooden? I won't be reading any more... too many other books to read! ... II (?) books, not for any particular reason, just because it is moving out of my Jean Plaidy comfort zone. I did purchase Victoria Victorious, because I read an excerpt in the back of one of her other books, but I haven't read it yet because it got pushed back by some other TBR books, ... I just finished Victoria Victorious by Jean Plaidy and will be posting my review later today. It was a very tedious book to read.

Queen's Devotion (0307346188) ... ... finish this one! I bought it because I wanted to read another Philippa Gregory but had read them all and I had read Victoria Victorious by Plaidy and quite liked it. This one was very boring, considering it was dealing with the Restoration I thought it was a poor effort.
