None. Just finished, and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. It felt a bit anti-climactic...after all the things that happened in the previous books, and how much time and attention Sinclair paid to all the details, the end of the battle - and the series - comes a little too quickly and easily for me. Maybe I was having a hard time picturing a battle of magic in my head, but I still have a few unanswered questions, especially about Balthasar and Telmaine. I understand Ishmael, Floria, and Tam way more than I understand Lady Telmaine and all her issues. I hope Sinclair left it open-ended on purpose, but I would like my last, nagging questions answered. This is the final installment in the trilogy. I wasn't all that happy with the ending, but it did make some sort of sense. I am hoping that the final chapter means that there will be a follow on trilogy sometime in the future. no reviews | add a review

I must say it didn't end how I expected, but I liked the ending nonetheless. It concluded the story while hinting at the future of the characters and as a reader, that's all I ask for. However, I was more interested in the newborn twins than was ever written about them, and about Bal and Floria than Ish and Telmaine, but whatevs.
It was great, I recommend it for anyone who likes fantasy. (
