Oh, I loved this book as a kid. I'd forgotten about it, but now it's the only one of the series I can still remember twenty years later.

Jessica and Elizabeth get a pair of dolls for Christmas, and are a little miffed because they are too old for dolls. But these aren't normal dolls! They are really dolls of these two princes in this magical kingdom, and Elizabeth and Jessica get transported to the kingdom and must help save the princes from the evil guy keeping them trapped, AND find some way to get back to their own world. VERY good book! ( )

When Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield's grandparents give them a pair of matching antique dolls for Christmas, they're a little surprised. Their grandparents should know they're too old to play with dolls! Then the twins learn that the dolls are a family legacy from a past generation of twins. But that's not all that's special about the dolls. Before they know it, Jessica and Elizabeth are thrown into the most magical adventure of their lives. And along the way they learn what being twins--and best friends--really means.
