Book description
This inspirational book is sure to be a keeper for most teenagers who read it. One finds themselves rooting for who Hope is as a member of the lower working class and what she stands for. A Newbery Honor Book and ALA Notable Book, this is a great independent reading book. It could also be read as a side project or assignment for a High School Sociology class in order to study her lower working class routes.
