This book is about a little girl who loved planes called Amelia. When she built a plane and took a flight around the would. Starting in Brazil, then to Kenya, Egypt, France, Finland, the Soviet Union, India, Nepal, China, and half way around the world before returning home. Even though it is a children’s book, it base on a true her real Amelia’s real life.

The children found it hard to believe she few to all of those places in a day and back at home in time for dinner. I said they have to use there imagination to believe you where there. I told them we just went to all of those places and we didn’t even have to leave the carpet. So the kids just smiled at me. One child wanted to know if all of those places where real. I told him yes then I went to the other room and got a globe of the world.

This is where our first project started. I showed them all the different places Amelia when to on her adventure in her plane. Next I have then imagine there where in a plane. Where would they go. One little girl said she would go to Iraq to see her dad. That was so sweet. Other said to visit Santa Clause. One waned to go meet the power rangers.
