Some excellent work here, but some stories were sadly lacking the deeper vision of Campbell. Certainly there was some excellent entries "Beauty", "Fortunes", "Cross My Heart", "The Queen", "The Awakening", "Growing pains" & "The Horror Under Warrendown". Very atomospheric when these hit the mark. Worth collecting ( )

This "tribute to Ramsey Campbell" is deeply disappointing. Most stories are clearly only transferred to his Goatswood setting as an afterthought - or an opportunity to see them published. A couple of them are nice, but most I could have done without. ( )
