Silly Huck just has to get those tasty flowers. Sean Taylor uses a great diversity of action words and rhymes to describe Huck's efforts. The pictures are hilarious.

This book is about a goat (Huck) who goes in search of his favorite food, flowers. He searches all over the town and each time he gets close to some flowers something stops him from getting to them. His honesty is put to the test at the end. This can be used to talk about the importance of being honest and how that can make other people happy and have trust in you.

Huck, a mountain goat with a taste for flowers and very stylish beard, goes into town looking for his favorite treats. He causes trouble of one kind and another, but when all of the townspeople are encouraging him to rescue a lady's floral hat from a high rooftop, will he save it, or eat it? Huck's antics are sure to get a giggle from young readers (and possibly older ones, as well)! ( )
