This book is great for the more advanced reader. It has bigger words, as well as ideas. "Huggly Takes a Bath" is a great book because it's underlying 'big idea' is to go out of your comfort zone and try new things, or to be adventurous. Although the book is not a great 'literature' book, it is appealing to the younger reader. The lovable and colorful 'monster under the bed', Huggly, goes on adventure after adventure in every book. The reader can take away a sense of imagination and adventure, and apply it to their own lives! ( )
