Vampires In comparison to the original book series and the television series, I can't quite approve of the Return Trilogy. It may have an interesting plotline that draws on non-traditional mythology, but the characters seem to be quite stereotyped. Elena becomes alternately wimpy and overly pushy, Stefan and definitely more of a wuss, and Bonnie and Meredith aren't very well developed. In contrast, Damon is the only character who is explored in depth, and it is clear that Smith has put all of her creative energy into figuring out what drives him. Thankfully, Damon is my favourite character anyways, so I don't mind that he is the focus :) Until she makes him die in the end though... BOOOOOOOO! no reviews | add a review
Eighteen-year-old Elena Gilbert's latest battle against the demons that have taken over her hometown of Fell's Church is complicated by the fact that Damon is a mortal since he, his brother Stefan, and Elena returned from the Dark Dimension. No library descriptions found. |
