None. This was a great novella. Nice to know the back story of one of the characters in Te House of Night series. It also explains how Dragon became the way he is & how he met Anastasia. Lovely love story too. Can't wait for Destined. I love the house of night seiries Dragons oath is one of my favorites but it is nearly impossible to pick a favorite book from a seires or at all when you read as much as I do. I really liked reading this novella. I really liked this was a glimpse into the life of Bryan Dragon Lankford, and how he met the love of his vampyre life. I liked how it showed the reader into his past, and present. This is definitely a must have if you like the rest of the House of Night series by P.C. Cast. I absolutely devoured this novella. I love the House of Night series, love the professors, so this was a fantastic read for me. I loved learning more about Dragon and why he is the way he is and why he reacted the way he did to certain things in the series. If you love the House of Night, you have to read Dragon's Oath to understand more about him. no reviews | add a review

This story provided the backgroun for Dragon Lankfield and Anastasia. It was OK, and it was nice to be in the House of Night universe again. However, the plot was very thin, and the whole story was just a filler until the next HoN book comes out.
Dragon used to be a loving man, but Anastasia's death made him bitter and vengeful. He won't even listen to his own inner voice, nor Nyx, nor even Anastasia's voice in order to try to make things right this time. (
