I love this stand alone novella for the house of nights series but I wouldn't read out of order as to not get confused. ( ) This book explains so much about one of the main characters in the normal storyline, as well as why he is like he is. It also works well in transitioning from the main storyline to the novella, even though it is supposed to be separate. Well written, well worth the money, and a highly engaging book. I could barely put it down it was that good. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the series and wanted to know more about the character, or anyone who enjoys this type of book. no reviews | add a review
