"The Elements of Content Strategy" is a primer on the burgeoning field of content strategy and a succinct how-to on working with client organizations on their content strategy. As it is a multi-disciplinary field, Kissane delves into a diverse range of subjects: editing, information architecture, user interface design and user research.

While the third book in this series does keep its information short and to the point, I found it much less practical and hands-on than the last two books; Kissane discusses strategies for dealing with clients and namedrops deliverables without giving stories or samples. Yet, perhaps it comes with the domain, consulting, which is a marked change from the building/engineering described earlier in the series. ( )
