These all-ages tales from the DC Universe, beautifully written and illustrated by Art Baltazar and Franco, will entertain new readers and seasoned fans of comics. In this new collection, Supergirl toddler-sits the tinier Tiny Titans. Then, the gang heads to the Fortress of Solitude for a super birthday party--which is crashed by a crew of Brainiacs. The pets get their own Tiny Pets League (including what looks like a squirrel with a green lantern ring which cracked me up because of Ch'p in the adult DC universe). We also meet Darkseid's son and there's a hilarious story about very, very big hair (including Connor Kent shaving his head).
There's even quite the 'Crisis' for the Tiny Titans.
So, yep, one of these volumes the writers will have to repeat a hilarious allusion-y joke about the adult DC Comic Universe, luckily they have at least what 70 years of history to joke about.
In some ways I think I like these TPBs even more than the adult DC TPBs. They're definitely less depressing (Jason and Tim Toddler. Hilarious). ( )
