10. The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly I really enjoyed this book. The altered, interwoven fairy tales were great. But the most enjoyable part of the book was the analysis and origins of each fairy tale used as well as early versions of each tale reprinted. All round a great book.

#209: I like Connolly's Charlie Parker series, but did not care as much for The Book of Lost Things - a disappointment to me because it was a book I really thought I would like more than I did. Maybe it will be better for you.

    I too have had a difficult time with The Book of Lost Things--and attempting to describe it in a review. I enjoyed it--especially the hilarious chapter that would give Walt Disney multiple heart attacks--but there is something a little "off" about the book.
