Loading... Blossom Culp and the Sleep of Death (1986)by Richard Peck
None. In the final book of the series, Blossom is caught by the spirit of an ancient Egyptian princess, who wants Blossom to find all of her treasures. Blossom drags Alexander into it to help her out. The story is cute, but I wish we had more of a resolution to the series. ( )I enjoy Richard Peck's Blossom Culp stories. Blossom is an extremely poor girl with certain supernatural abilities; amongst other things she can speak with the dead and time-travel. Her mother is a Gypsy who seems to quite relish living the stereotype. In this particular volume, an ancient Egyptian princess is angered by the desecration of her tomb, and appears to Blossom Culp with the commandment to find her missing mummy and return her treasures to her tomb before a certain famous archeologist discovers her tomb to be empty. no reviews | add a review
