Temple Barr, a p.r. lady, winds up in the middle of many murders throughout this series, primarily set in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her large, street-savvy tom, Midnight Louie, as usual saves the day. In this series the animals talk to each other but not to the people. This particular story is set partially at the American Booksellers' Association convention, with employees of Baker & Taylor being kidnapped. I am generally not a fan of cat mysteries (or cats themselves for that matter), but there is something so cunning about Midnight Louie that I would even take him in. Temple is great as well. This fun and intelligent series is a fun one to read. First in the Midnight Louie mystery series, where in Louie and caretaker Temple Barr are introduced. They are instrumental in solving a murder at an ABA convention in Las Vegas. Very cute, quick, fun read. I'm looking forward to the following books in the series. 0.090 seconds to build listing no reviews | add a review
