Quick read. Great story to continue the journey of crime/mystery story. Theodore Boone is an intriguing young man who is hot on the trail of things. Great storyline that your teen will love and you will find a great delight too. ( )

I know its a youth novel -- but heck -- Theodore is a great kid lawyer! I love it! ( )

I finished this book thinking that it was written by a different author than the first volume in the series. It had the feel of the 39 Clues where each book is written by a different author and the continuity is a little rough between volumes. This had the same feel although perhaps Grisham wrote them at the same time and therefore didn't know exactly where his characters were headed before the second volume started. On the whole I wasn't impressed although it still rates three stars. ( )

I planned to read a book that was darker that required my full attention later on in the day, so I decided to start with listening to a little bit of John Grisham's Theodore Boone: The Abduction. That was a big mistake! By the end of the first few sentences, I was in for the whole story. I didn't stop listening until there were no more CDs. There is no greater compliment. ( )
