Along with *Dune* by Frank Herbert, and *The Power of Myth* by Joseph Campbell w/ Bill Moyers, Osho's *Book of Secrets* is one of the books that had the deepest impact on my life. Even a full decade after I first fell in love with it, I still come back and Osho's words fill me with such peace and comfort -- with the feeling that everything is exactly as it should be, that I can accept myself right now as I am, that the universe is well-cared-for and in adept hands. With that kind of trust in his expert guidance, I was able to achieve some extraordinary things in meditation. A book to cherish and read again and again. ( )

Osho has so many philosophies and ideas that transcend "religion" and get to the heart of being a compassionate and well rounded human being. I plan to read more of his work.

I love this book, Osho has so many interesting things to say. The whole thing has a very conversational tone and you really get what he is saying. ( )

This book purports to contain 112 individual meditative techniques. It further states that anybody in the world will be able to find at least one such technique to work consistently for them. I would be inclined to agree with this assessment. I almost immediately found several techniques in this book which worked for me on the first few tries. Anybody who is having trouble with meditation should experiment with this book. ( )
