This is an "okay" book for an absolute beginner, could have done with less Christianising but for a kick start into magic, it's fine. ( ) Great book on candle magick. Lots of information that you'll find useful for non-candle magick as well. Candles are my preferred spellwork, so I found this to be particularly useful. But the lists of correspondences and associations of colors, etc. will be useful for all. This book also gives information on how to make the ceremonies less Pagan and more Christian in nature. This was one of the first books I ever bought for myself. I bought it while I was in high school, and experimenting with a variety of things. I did do some of the rituals, and I know that this sort of thing works. I don't choose to do rituals of this sort very often anymore, though (if at all). It's a good book on the subject, though, and it was instrumental to me in learning about this branch of spirituality. no reviews | add a review
