I used this dictionary in high school and community college. Excellent, better than today's dictionaries! I still make use of book dictionaries, even in the day of online spell check, because I still can't spell very well. ( )

A friend was giving away books, so I took this dictionary. I prefer Merriam Webster since it is the dictionary of choice among Scrabble players, and it also includes more inormation about the history of the word. But I like how readable this one is, and the color plates are spectacular. I think this will be a fun one to browse. ( )
