The Volunteers' Guide to Fundraising is an excellent tool. If you are involved in fundraising of any kind, I highly recommend giving this guide a read. There is so much information taking you from the very beginning all the way through the fundraising process. There are great ideas of fundraisers, how to choose the right fundraiser for your group, how to execute fundraisers efficiently, and so much more. It really is a great place to start when it comes to fundraising as a volunteer. ( )

This book is a boot camp for anyone entering into the world of non-profit funding. I have been operating a 501(c)3 for several years now and I can honestly say that this book will not only help the volunteer but also the new professional. I wish I had this when I had started. The CD Rom is full of useful documents which you can tailor for your organization. That alone is worth the cost of the book. ( )

Quick non-technical overview of various fundraising venues. Geared for the smaller nonprofit just learning there way through the development maze. Should be a helpful resource for volunteers looking to put on an event to help their favorite organization. Recommended for newcomers to fundraising and development. ( )

An excellent introduction to fundraising for small non-profit or volunteer organizations. Though the title proclaims 'Volunteers', it would be useful for staff of small non-profits as well. It covers developing a fundraising plan, matching fundraising ideas to goals, and detailed chapters on organizing a wide variety of fundraising events. Templates are provided on the accompanying CD for budget plans, support-raising letters, and forms that should prove useful.
