Este libro aborda la trilogía novelística sabatiana en su múltiple espesor simbólico, desde el núcleo vista/ceguera, luz/oscuridad, que la traspasa. la ambivalencia permanece en el funcionamiento de esta posición donde ninguno de los términos es simple o puro. La contaminación interna, el trastocamiento de valores y sentidos, determina que la vista sea también ciega (incapaz de iluminar el otro lado de la luna, la realidad que ama ocultarse) y que la ceguera constituya otra forma, transgresora y clandestina, subversiva y anómala, de la visión.
El presente libro tuvo su germen en la tesis doctoral de la autora titulada: "La ambivalencia simbólica en la narrativa de Ernesto Sábato". ( )
