Goodreads says I read this, but doesn't say when. Also, there's no review, which is unusual for me. So I'm marking it as not read until I find out differently.

This was a surprisingly fun book with likable characters. I really enjoyed following the journey of the story. ( )

An absolutely fabulous read. A great storyline that features David Zinc who begins the book in a very high powered legal firm and very soon moves from them into a small partnership where we see them take on a big pharmaceutical company with disastrous results. However with David's tenacity the small legal partnership move on to a more appropriate legal route. A pleasure to read and I am surprise there isn't, as far as I am aware, a sequel. ( )

It's a long time since I've read an Grisham, but I really enjoyed this (so much so in fact that I've picked up another of his more recent books to read). It's a fun, engaging tale with likeable, believable characters and some nice humour. It labours the legal detail at times, and I would have preferred it without the somewhat distracting chapters about the defence team's work, but overall it was a solid and enjoyable thriller. ( )
